Division for the Blind and Visually Impaired

    • State Rehabilitation Council for the Blind and Visually Impaired (SRC)
      The State Rehabilitation Council (SRC) for the Division for the Blind and Visually Impaired (DBVI) consists of statewide representation from business and industry, rehabilitation service providers, consumers of rehabilitation programs, parents of consumers, consumer membership organizations, the state education agency, and disability advocacy groups.

    • State Rehabilitation Council (SRC)

      Vermont's State Rehabilitation Council advocates for consumer-directed and effective vocational services and for the creation of resources and services that will result in equal opportunities for Vermonters with Disabilities.

    • Governor's Commission on Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders
      The Commission’s mission is to identify key public policy issues related to ADRD, to educate the public and private sectors regarding these matters and to make policy recommendations in support of developing programs and services essential to providing accessible and appropriate services to people with dementia illnesses and to their families and other care partners.

    • Governor's Committee on Employment of People with Disability (GCEPD)
      The Governor's Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities (GCEPD) is Vermont's legally designated leadership and coordination group on issues related to employment of people with disabilities, and has a direct advisory relationship with the Governor. Here you will find information and resources of interest to job seekers and to employers seeking to hire or accommodate individuals with disabilities.
    • Vermont Developmental Disabilities Council
      The Vermont Developmental Disabilities Council is a state-wide Council that works to increase public awareness about critical issues affecting people with developmental disabilities and their families. In addition to state agency and non-profit representatives, 13 of its 21 members (62%) are self-advocates and family members.
